FireHouse Performance

A small museum located on the campus of Marquette University, Haggerty Museum of Art has some of the finest Old Master paintings in Wisconsin. The collection numbers more than 4,500 works, including pieces by Salvador Dali and Andy Warhol. This free museum houses both permanent and traveling exhibits and attractions.

Engage in hands-on learning about science, nature and sustainable living at the Urban Ecology Center. The center has two outdoor "laboratories," located in two urban parks, which feature 15 acres of woodland, a lagoon and riparian habitat on the east bank of the Milwaukee River. The parks also house a habitat-themed playground, as well as seasonal swimming, boating and skating.

Watch a concert at the indoor Pabst Theater. The fourth oldest continually operating theater in the United States has hosted a number of notable, classic acts. The entertainment venue continues its century long tradition by presenting approximately one hundred music, dance, comedy, opera and theater events each year. Stop by on Friday's for Fish Fry & Flick, a chance to enjoy a free movie on an outdoor screen.

Travel back in time as you listen to the 50s-style jazz music at The Jazz Estate, a Milwaukee jazz landmark and entertainment venue that has been around since 1977. Enjoy live music on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights (as well as weekly drink specials on Monday). The Estate has hosted nationally famous jazz players like Harry Connick Jr., Clyde Stubblefield and Jill Henderson, as well as local jazz favorites.
