Be sure to watch a performance by the Milwaukee Repertory Theater & Professional Theater Company, an eleven member Resident Acting Company dedicated to presenting new playwrights and reviving classics. The Rep's current complex is a cleverly converted power generation plant that can seat well over a thousand people within its three theaters, and hosts an 11-play entertainment season annually.

Travel back in time as you listen to the 50s-style jazz music at The Jazz Estate, a Milwaukee jazz landmark and entertainment venue that has been around since 1977. Enjoy live music on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights (as well as weekly drink specials on Monday). The Estate has hosted nationally famous jazz players like Harry Connick Jr., Clyde Stubblefield and Jill Henderson, as well as local jazz favorites.

Visit one of the largest public museums in the United States. The Milwaukee Public Museum is home to interesting exhibits and attractions that will interest everybody. Learn about the past, from the people who roamed the Streets of Old Milwaukee to the dinosaurs who roamed before streets existed. Stroll through a lush garden and interact with the butterflies that call it home. Get a breathtaking view of the night sky and explore outer space at the Planetarium.

The Grohmann Museum is a fairly new museum located at Milwaukee School of Engineering, whose artwork is dedicated to the evolution of human work. After you explore the three main levels, be sure to make a trip up to the roof. At the Rooftop Sculpture Garden you will see a dozen 9-foot tall, bronze sculptures depicting men toiling the fields and foundries.
