Beer lovers will want to stop by this local microbrewery for one of their tours. At Lakefront Brewery, you'll learn about the beer-making process and sample four tap beers for free with admission. Leave your tour with a commemorative Souvenir Pint Glass. Since 1987, Lakefront has specialized in handmade brews including Riverwest Stein, Eastside Dark, Klisch Pilsner and Organic Extra Special Bitters.

Engage in hands-on learning about science, nature and sustainable living at the Urban Ecology Center. The center has two outdoor "laboratories," located in two urban parks, which feature 15 acres of woodland, a lagoon and riparian habitat on the east bank of the Milwaukee River. The parks also house a habitat-themed playground, as well as seasonal swimming, boating and skating.

The former home of Captain Frederick Pabst, the world famous beer baron and founder of the Pabst Brewing Company, the Pabst Mansion is open year-round to provide guided tours about the legacy of Pabst, the history of brewing, the craftsmanship of the house and the history of Milwaukee.
