The entertainment venue continues its century long tradition by presenting approximately one hundred music, dance, comedy, opera and theater events each year. Perfect for children under 10 years old, this museum educates children about art, nature and science through fun and unique exhibits and attractions. The ABC garden features everything from Azaleas to Zinnias; It's Artastic! invites children to create music, put on a puppet show and make their shadows do ballet; Raceways and On A Roll teach children about gravity, acceleration and momentum by guiding golf balls along fun and exciting tracks.

Continue the long tradition of the Wisconsin State Fair by joining in on the eleven-day festivities in West Allis, right outside of the Milwaukee city limits. Since 1851, this festival has drawn in vendors and citizens from all across the state. Yearly venues include regional and national bands, carnival rides, specialty vendors, agricultural exhibits and a variety of food and drink, including the popular cream puffs.

The Kettle Moraine State Forest consists of northern and southern units that frame Milwaukee. The Northern Unit is less than an hour's drive away from the city and features several biking and hiking trails (including part of the famous Ice Age Trail), campgrounds and fishing and hunting sites.
