The former home of Captain Frederick Pabst, the world famous beer baron and founder of the Pabst Brewing Company, the Pabst Mansion is open year-round to provide guided tours about the legacy of Pabst, the history of brewing, the craftsmanship of the house and the history of Milwaukee. The center has two outdoor "laboratories," located in two urban parks, which feature 15 acres of woodland, a lagoon and riparian habitat on the east bank of the Milwaukee River.
