Lake Park
Located on the last remaining prehistoric Indian Mound in the city, Lake Park is a 138-acre oasis of greenery within the urban landscape. Just north of the Milwaukee Art Museum, this park is home to a lighthouse, several trails and paths, tennis courts, a golf course and a playground. Haggerty Museum of Art
A small museum located on the campus of Marquette University, Haggerty Museum of Art has some of the finest Old Master paintings in Wisconsin. The collection numbers more than 4,500 works, including pieces by Salvador Dali and Andy Warhol. This free museum houses both permanent and traveling exhibits and attractions.
The Grohmann Museum
The Grohmann Museum is a fairly new museum located at Milwaukee School of Engineering, whose artwork is dedicated to the evolution of human work. After you explore the three main levels, be sure to make a trip up to the roof. At the Rooftop Sculpture Garden you will see a dozen 9-foot tall, bronze sculptures depicting men toiling the fields and foundries.
