More than just a 32-mile-long sidewalk, this 10-foot-wide reinforced concrete path is a monumental achievement and a key component in Cheyenne’s non-motorized transportation system. Add a touch of class to your evening when you take your date to a performance by the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra. A fairly small orchestra, this group is nevertheless one of the finest in the region. Since 1935, the symphony has sought to share the beauty of music with Cheyenne–the perfect soundtrack for a romantic night.
Military and history buffs alike will be fascinated by the F. E. Warren AFB Intercontinental Ballistic Missile and Heritage Museum located on the Warren Air Force Base. Originally established by the army as Fort David Allen Russell in 1867, Warren is known as the oldest continuously active military installation within the Air Force. The on-base museum showcases the history of missiles and the lives of men and women who were stationed here.
