Part of the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest, an almost 2.9 million acre forest straddling Wyoming and Colorado, the Medicine Bow - Routt National Forest showcases some of the most breathtaking landscape in the state–from mountain ranges and towering trees to grasslands and crystal clear streams. Come watch the newly formed Cheyenne Stampede showcase their sports skills on the ice at the Ice and Events Center. Part of the Western States Hockey League, this Cheyenne-based hockey team is Wyoming’s newest Jr. A team and has recruited players from all over the state to take on (and take down) opponents from New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, California and Arizona.
