Take a step back into the mid-1800s with the San Antonio Fire Museum, where visitors can check out the antique fire trucks, fire-fighting equipment, historical artifacts, beautifully archived documents, and photos. On the kid tours, your kiddos can dress up in authentic replicas of firefighters' turnout gear and climb up on a 1953 International fire truck. They can also take a seat in the small theater and watch short videos on the history of firefighters and how they train today.
Catch the nightlife fire at Burnhouse Rooftop, one of the finest rooftop bars spreading its way through Alamo City where the terrace serves as the epicenter of fun during the night with a nearly tropical feel in the air as people gather to toast the sun as it sinks behind the city. Escape the stress of life's routine and try out the fabulously delicious mix of relaxation, cocktails, and clubbing while enjoying the expansive bar, creative roster of DJs, and themed nights to keep every visit fresh.
Relish in a uniquely different performance space that has blossomed into a destination for people to come for theater, meet up with friends, have a drink, and enjoy live music at the Roxie Theatre Company. At the center of this immersive stage is a diamond of a venue, a complete flashback in time with a French circus vaudeville theme and flare beautifully constructed from aged bricks, marble, glass windows, and an elegantly flowing drop curtain. Around the sideshow venue from the past, you are invited to experience their interactive showroom connecting you once again with humanity both virtually online and back onstage.
