Venture off to The Classic Theatre of San Antonio, where they create relevant, diverse, entertaining, and transformative performances. Founded on the principle that artists deserve a place to act, direct and design for a living, they are staunchly committed to this long elusive dream.
Take a step back in time and experience America’s oldest children’s amusement park, which has maintained all the original rides since the 1920s. At Kiddie Park, you can enjoy the old-fashion Ferris wheel, Flying Saucers, the “Little Dipper,” the famous hand-carved Herschell Spillman Carousel, as well as other classic rides that offer the same experiences that generations of visitors have come to know and love.
Create memorable experiences with friends and family under one roof at Downtown Social where you can drink, game, and dine all under one roof. Have fun with all the jam-packed entertainment you need to have a great time. Whether it's tasty food from the kitchen, deliciously crafted cocktails, a variety of games and bowling, watching your favorite sports game on the TVs, or jamming and dancing to live music performances, they have a little of everything for everyone.
Festive music fills the air as vibrant floats of the Texas Cavaliers River Parade flow through the San Antonio river in a one-of-a-kind celebration that brings a unique experience to the city. Texas Cavaliers and the parade sponsors decorated every float with bright flowers and vibrant colors, and the tradition of the River Parade began. The first parade included several boats for schools, local businesses, civic organizations, and the army. The Texas Cavaliers River Parade has found its way into the hearts of over 250,000 spectators each year, and the money raised supports local children’s charities through the Texas Cavaliers Charitable Foundation.
